What I Learned

I have learned so much from taking this class. I learned that I am a lot better of an artist than I actually thought. I love to look at my work and see how I progressed. Thank you Mrs. Thompson for teaching me the things to bring my art to life. I learned how to use Corell Painter, Adobe Flash, and Adobe Photoshop. I  really want to take Digital Arts 2.

Photoshop Pop Art

This was my favorite project of all. It was so fun and it allowed us to implement all the skills we have learned over the year into one beautiful work of art. It was so fun to watch the picture literally pop off the page! It was so easy to make because it didn't have to look exactly like our face! I feel that this piece really exemplifies my talents.

Flash Pop Art

This piece was created using Adobe Flash and I was pleasantly surprised at how simple it was to create the lines. After I had completed the basic image, I filled it in with some color and a cool background using none other than Adobe Photoshop. This piece let me be a little more insightful about composition and positioning and overall, I feel that I did a very nice job.

Landscapes

By working on 4 different landscapes and using varying techniques, I learned how longer, softer lines in the background add depth, and how shorter, sharper lines in the foreground give definition. These pieces have really shown me new ways to compose my art.

Painter
This landscape was made in Corell Painter. I love how my mountains peak through the fluffy cloud; however, I feel that I have improved immensely since this project.

Auto Van Gogh
By using the auto Van Gogh tool in Corell painter, we were able to make our landscapes look like they were from Van Gogh himself! I really think the mountains look stunning in this piece.

Expressionist
This goal of this project was to try to see your landscape in a new light. I was pleased to see that this landscape had a good composition, and a clear background, middle ground, and foreground.

Photoshop
This piece was created using Adobe Photoshop and I loved the effects that I had used so much, that I later used it as the background for my mythical beast.

Color Wheel

This is my color wheel. Corell Painter is the program that I used to create this piece. There are the tints, tones, shades, complementary colors, complementary mixes, and analogous colors. This piece really helped me to find coordinating colors with almost every project.

Mytical Beast

This piece is a creation using Adobe Photoshop to create a creature bade from animal and non-animal parts, along with our eye. I used jellyfish tentacles for the body of my creature, and for the wings, I used tree bark. I was able to blend them together using the heal tool and I love how my eye looks like it was always part of the picture. I think that  is one of my best pieces yet.

Mango Eye Tutorial

This is my Mango Eye tutorial. It has been one of the most informative projects yet! I learned so many things from it including: how to blend, how to use many tools that I did not know were there, and so much more!

Space Scapes

These space scape pieces really taught me a lot about the program Corell Painter and I really enjoyed using it. These pieces make me think of how far I have progressed since the beginning of the semester. I really enjoyed this portion of the class and I have implemented these teachings into many of my other art pieces.
